ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF MAURITANIA (2013-2014).
World GeoMaps Inc. (amalgamated in 2025 with BALKAN GEOLOGICAL SURVEY) successfully completed a major mapping project for the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Ministry of Petroleum, Energy and Mines. Project includes production of more than 573 individual official government map sheets, in 13 + different products, at scale 1:200,000 and some products at scale 1: 1,000,000, the entire geodatabase of the project was created in English and French. Our involvement in the project included map sheet design, geomatics, cartography, geodatabase development, and all accompanying GIS work through to final publishing files.
